I fear what could happen is that users might start focusing on accumulating tips rather than fostering authentic, engaging posts. In other words, it could incentivize people to game the system by producing content designed to generate tips rather than content designed to add value to the community. The quality of content could become secondary to the quantity of tips. Let's stay true to the original ethos of soj.ooo's conception.
