Here Ye, Here Ye, Read All About it The word "Jew" comes from the name Judah, one of the twelve sons of Israel. Before Judah, there was Israel, whose original name was Jacob. Jacob was the son of Isaac, and Isaac was the son of Abraham. So the lineage goes: Abraham had Isaac, Isaac had Jacob (who was renamed Israel), and Jacob had a son named Judah. Over time, people from the tribe of Judah were called "Judeans," which eventually became "Jews." So when someone says "Jew," it literally traces back to Judah, the great-grandson of Abraham. If you know about this, please check out my latest Hybrid Novel [Eternel Visionary of Justice](https://soj.ooo/p/freethinkers/post/2186a4bac06706526836297896fa14b9)
