I mostly post on the fediverse, have been for years. I like it because there are so many servers you can find one that suits you really well, or host your own since the server software is all open source. On the server I use there's near total freedom of speech, just no fedposting and no CP, as it should be. I saw someone asking if it was or if you would connect sojooo to the fediverse but I don't think that's a good idea. You've structured things differently than the AP system and it could be complicated to make them fit together. You could make your own server pretty easily if you wanted to though, and cloning accounts from sojooo to there or cross-posting from sojooo would be trivial, worth considering.
