Whitney Webb is arguably among the last few journalists worth their salt. Though I'm not sure I'd agree with your assessment of the community here, at least not totally. Sadly, I think we're well past any chance of a real revolution. There's so much rot in the news and you're seeing it bleed into independent outlets and podcasts to the extent where I think now more than ever no one can agree on facts or history. So, while there's clearly trolls spouting off extremism for the sake of it, I think much of the problem is not that no one cares, rather that society is so split with different narratives, various biases, and sources that objectivity almost isn't even possible. All of that said, I'm kind of just thinking out loud and could be way off base here.

ah wanted to share another example from right to repair community of how united rather than divided most people are - seriously when you follow the money and see how people are voting with our wallets in the net revenue financials of these legacy firms you see how we American peasants and the working class of the world doesn't want the crap our rulers are pushing take the final few minutes of this segment where Scotty rants about Maryland's autonomous toll situation (guarantee you no one voted for that crap) nor the EZ pass garbage east coast CONUS highway toll system ... i don't know of something more viceral and visually hateable than those tolls i saw come up and expand as a child

IRT Whitney Webb: In unraveling the geopolitical machinations of criminal plutocracy in our post-Industrial Revolution Hemisphere I whole-heartedly agree with you. But there are other good journalist also depending on the beat you follow. We have among other citizen journalist a fellow in PNW named Johnathan Choe who does incredible work covering the Homeless Industrial Complex. There's also Andy Ngo who's probably most famous for his work covering Antifa. The trio-over at China Uncensored/America Uncovered is a tiny youtube Channel that's been talking about CCP influence for over a decade. James O'Keefe who now has his OMG network does pretty good work uncovering domestic corruption too. IRT the so.joo community, it is really immature (is the kindest euphemism I can probably offer). We're there not so many elderly lurkers here trolling for an easy scapegoat to blame all societies ails on - maybe it could be something above an average 90s style message board. IRT "past chance of revolution" & "no one cares" that is probably my primary criticism of this site - that like with the rest of social media it just ultimately encourages and propagates \***apathy**\* Every-time, I foray into seeing what's on here fb, twitter, etc it's basically the same garbage (which is where I think a lot of the "society is so split" rhetoric comes from) - it is not split. The whole notion of the split is simply manufactured into feeding the left/right/conservative/liberal trigger words and issues that get people to donate to the political machine. Political division is business, far more than policy. I'm told I 'touch a lot of grass,' and the division you see in the media (includes social media & internet garbage) is fake. It's not there outside of some jackass at the water cooler. Outside of coastal California, Hawaii, & the beltway, the Covid Facism was a huge wake-up call to most Americans CONUS. I teach kids how to garden and be independent, about Right to Repair - mentor others that will listen in the real world (offline). Small steps are the revolution that ended the last global depression and fed the nation. Every meaningful religious doctrine pretty much teaches the same thing. "Love your Neighbor / Do Unto Others" "Be One With The Dao of Nature" "Enlightenment Comes Through Freedom of Self Attachments" "To Kill Another is to Kill the World, to Save Another is to Save the World" etc By and large outside of distinct pockets of America you have people that pretty much want the same things in our country. Sure we have a shitty managerial class of royal aristocracy, but so did our ancestors. As a patriot and historian, I think adherence to constitutional values (and the literal willingness to dies for those values) essentially guarantees the liberty our souls all year for. You're going to find for instance that most of your neighbors will not be onboard with the Patriot Act. (It's been renamed like 3 times now.) Off course, there are those that are going to persist in use of tools like that - it'll be easier to identify them when you learn the tools they use, and track the economics behind it. IE:
