They disbelieved our servant and said, "Crazy!" He was persecuted. He **implored** his Lord, "I am oppressed; grant me victory." We then opened the gates of the sky, pouring water. And we caused springs to gush out of the earth. The waters met to effect a predetermined decision. We carried him on a watercraft made of logs and ropes.

Make a way out for us? People persecuted Noah? What the towns folk? Weren't there many humans on planet Earth at that time? Did they all persecute Noah? Granting victory is drowning all humans? This is what you call a merciful god? Why do you think like this? That murdering humans by an all powerful god is "victory"? Doesn't you god allow "free-will"? If so, then why did it kill people before their Earthly time to die?

sacredcow: Granting victory is drowning all humans? Mercy is God's attribute, which people were saved and which people were drowned? #Quran chp 6 ver 12 Say, "To whom belongs everything in the heavens and the earth?" Say, "To GOD." He has decreed that mercy is His attribute. He will surely summon you all on the Day of Resurrection, which is inevitable. The ones who lose their souls are those who disbelieve.

Umm? You proclaimed this thing about a flood. You then said a dude built a floaty thing of wood and ropes. If your god judges in death, then let people die a natural death, your god doesn't need to kill them early. Your god doesn't allow free will if your god murders people before their time to actually die.
