Dude, a legitimate, contending superpower do not commit GDP fraud on ongoing basis.  China in this aspect is actually 'worse' than even Jews.  Lee had been had.

False, U.S. didn't even need to fight Ho; he was willing to be an ally of U.S. to counter China!    U.S. due to her shallowness, at the time, didn't see how Vietnam saw China.   Ho had been very Pro-U.S. during WW2, against Japan, and Ho was even willing to coopt remnant IJA troops, some of them, even Kempetai war criminals against France.    Ho saw China as the greatest potential threat to Vietnam.   U.S. threw away the chance to turn Ho into an ally against China, and prevent the Soviets gaining foothold in SE Asia.   All U.S. had to do was accept Ho's invitation, and let corrupt/incompetent South Vietnam meet its well-deserved fate.
