War, famine and plague are teaching tools. IMHO, they are not meant to be a way out, but rather a test. Those who take responsibility for all God’s gifts (Free Will, natural resources, care of one’s own human form, interacting properly with others according to His guidance), will guarantee themselves a way out. additionally, OUR OWN CHOICES NOW have a ripple effect from today until forever. One good or bad choice today will contribute to surviving famine or dying from it in 100 years.
