Sometimes it might just be the luck of the draw and topic-dependent. It’s probably mentally healthy to keep your expectations low and experiment:) Did you try tapping into alternative health tourism, for example?:) “How my health stats improved just by living in beautiful, rustic Mexico… Turns out you don’t need alternative medicine when you actually live here. That sounds good. But I have for the most part stopped looking for partners. I wish it could be done faster. I would love to have a huge farm and lots of people and a real community, but I think it will just have to be when I can afford to do it and probably remain on the smaller side. Makes life easier for sure anyway. It requires very little land to be self sufficient and there are so many expert farmer types here I will have more options for help than I would ever need. Currently I'm planning to open a restaurant here next year. I think my boss is very likely to invest. Its truly amazing how far money goes down here. I can open a nice restaurant and bar for less than a quarter what it costs back home, and because of those low costs, the probability of success is much better. So with any luck, that happens first, then the self sufficient property will come after. I hope the world will wait for me.

I understand, partnering might not be as useful or beneficial in practice as it should be. I wouldn’t even know how to help people after they’ve taken the safe and effective jab, but being a destination for mature people who might want to invest in your “foundation” might not hurt. And if a Latina gives them a heart attack, so be it:) When you open that restaurant, make sure to start a rumor that your cola carries the original ingredients:)
