sacredcow: So does your god give humans free will or not? Freedom of choice with regards to what happens to us in this world (i.e. our response), or do you want to choose a different Sun? For example, if you have food, do you share it with your hungry neighbour or not- this is the sort of freedom of choice referred to. We can't choose a different Sun, for we did not even create the existing one.

My neighbors are starving actually. I have 5 homeless people living on their grandfathers property beside me. 2 live in a tent and 2 live in a car, the other one lives in a tiny house. They have money to buy cigarettes and drugs but not food. Should I feed them because I have food? Why?

sacredcow: They have money to buy cigarettes and drugs but not food. They are exercising freedom of choice with their money. "Should I feed them because I have food? Why?" You have freedom of choice to feed or not.
