For a more thought-out answer: I believe humans can experience spiritual voids driven by existential anxiety that religions were the earliest primitive 'answers' for. Especially in humans with hyper self-awareness needing a greater purpose to exist and reason to carry on through life's sufferings---beyond 'purely by accident'. Historically, superstitions/creation stories became the main source of self-assurance and human lives' inherit 'value' in the world. By extension, religions also became a moral framework for programming basic 'civilities' in early societies (with ideas like karma, killing is punishable by God, etc), in a way acting as an additional evolutionary pressure to reward positive behaviors and enable social cohesion. But it has come at the cost of religious persecution/wars/anti-science/etc. Whether you think it's a fair trade-off, depends on what you prioritize and 'religiosity' can be determined from there. Personally, I have a lot of problems with radical religion, but I can't un-notice that the rise in secularism also seems to be in line with the West's societal decline/moral decay either. So I don't have a perfect 'solution'. However, it's really the globalists' favorite religions to co-opt and strip-down as a tool to control the masses that matters. Within Christianity, it's been preparatorily seeding suicidal empathy and Christian Zionism (originally antithetical to Christianity, but was changed via the Scofield bible). And their favorite toy (to both beat 'on' and beat 'with') is Islam which they will reduce down to it's most destructive component: 'jihad' (mostly for war/depopulation purposes). "*Islam is the broom of Israel*" comes to mind. https://archive.org/embed/you-will-have-no-place-to-run.-islam-is-the-broom-of-israel.-rabbi-rav-touitou

Favorite? Roko's basilisk 🐍, just in case lol. \[Warning: cognito-hazard\] ^\[\[Roko's Basilisk is a thought experiment that draws similarities to religious concepts. It involves an advanced all-powerful artificial intelligence that punishes those who were aware of its existence and did not help in its creation, mirroring the idea of divine punishment found in some religions. Like how some religions describe deities punishing non-believers or those who do not follow specific rules.\]\]^
