Is it because it is of an outside perspective when the experience has an internal one? You experience the geometry as if you were a part of it and it goes seemingly forever in all directions including time?

In a sense ya but there feels like there is no concept of time, it feels like it could be hours when really it was only minutes. Yes it goes on forever in all directions constantly shifting and reshaping itself. It's not really something you can describe but if you watch that video in its entirety you can get a glimpse of the picture.
