I don't know nearly enough about it. My Dad was retired but has been back working ever since. Of course any event of great significance has numerous factors. Among them are allowing for banker bailouts and an increasing grip on the economy, while normalizing the too big to fail idea and injecting dollars into the economy. Short opportunities and then the chance to get back in at the bottom. Robbing normal people of their assets. The ability to buy huge amounts of property at extreme discount prices and transfer huge amounts of capital from the people and to the banking system. What's your take? I'm eager to know more from a different source as my opinion is generalized.

I am not an insider, so I listen to many of those who were around when it crashed. And yes it was to good to be true prices, implying the possibility of a scam.
