You are asking really good questions in your post. Thank you for putting that together. Well done. If I could ask one thing of all Christians, it would be to read Nietzsche's "The AntiChrist". You certainly do not have to agree with him, but please read it. It was written more than 100 years ago, and is as true now as then. He was barred from working after he wrote it, so it seems the least we can do is read it to find out why. The same powers that existed then to quiet his voice are the same powers now that do the same to others. Peace.
