I feel you. While I consider myself a Christian and political conservative, I do have gay friends and they bleed like the rest of us... Some of them are the kindest and sweetest people I know. With that said, I do have a lot against the woke, LGBTQ+ agenda, and identity politics, which is just an extension of Marxist critical theory, which systematically destroyed our country and universities over the last 50 years, and significantly in the previous two decades. There's a lot of gay people who have joined conservative circles precisely because they are against the woke agenda. DEI was a woke excuse to segregate people and give high precedence to sexual preference or certain race over the merit and competencies. I'm glad that we are seeing the end of it. I don't care if we have ten gay men or straight men working in the fire squad, as long as they are the most competent men.

💯 in agreeance. I grew up with meritocracy. Nobody I know cares about race or gender or sexual preference. The other side not so much. Best person for the job. That's how I've always rolled. Some of the best executives I ever hired were women and many of my employees are immigrants. I had a gay man COO for 3 years and never knew until we had a trip in Vegas together and he introduced me to his husband.

100% I was working with one gay colleague and she was always kind and helpful - never felt a need to emphasize that she is gay unlike many activists who are paid to go above and beyond to advocate for most ridiculous policies that ruined cities like San Fran, New York, Chicago or LA. Immigrants are one of the hardest-working people I know. As an immigrant myself, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity this country gave me!
