They have been printing but the Ruble has been strong. Inflation has been low probably because their interest rates are through the roof by our standards like 15%-20%. They shifted to a war economy a while ago and something that isn't talked about much is that they have not borrowed a dime to finance the war.  Oil refinery repairs certainly are expensive but Russia has been far from falling off the cliff so far. imho I believe there is going to be a next level escalation. Actually I think that it is being covered up right now. Nobody wants to talk about the Russian drones flying over the Baltics or attacks that have come from there. Crimea is starting to go backwards on them. I think that they are done with the testing part of new systems and are going to go direct against NATO-ranians. The EU/UK/MI6/CIA contingent keeps forcing Russia to show it's hand. Another unadvertised thing is the trade in foreign currencies and gold. I think that's the main driver of the wars.

The NATO-ranian strike came from the Baltic Sea. More than than just NATO air space is being used by the NATO-ranians.
