"It depends on stablecoin pegged to what country?" Short maturity U.S. Bonds which will create artificial demand. If it is rolled out in other countries, South American most likely, it will have the effect of a vacuum cleaner sucking everything out and into Washington. "That is true, and that's one thing I do agree with mainstream economics; gold standard does not work, due to cheating, no accountability for cheating." We somehow overlook the effects of fiat. The system is being set up the U.S. has known that it might and now most likely will happen and I think have planned for it. All the war is actually doing is ushering it in sooner. imho

'' "It depends on stablecoin pegged to what country?" - Hyok Kim ''Short maturity U.S. Bonds which will create artificial demand. - Rick '' How would short maturity U.S. Bonds create artificial demand? ''If it is rolled out in other countries, South American most likely, it will have the effect of a vacuum cleaner sucking everything out and into Washington.'' - Rick Depending on relative economic competitiveness and/or political stability of paired parties; it does not have to have anything to do with a particular stablecoin that will become the dominant currency of the future. All the war is actually doing is ushering it in sooner. imho'' War will drain the resources of U.S. This will result in U.S. having to borrow more from other countries; there are basically two ways of doing this, either economic productivity granting the long-term financial incentives to the lenders, or political stability that will grant safe heaven status to the lenders. The problem is U.S. won't be able to offer in either term, in the future as U.S. had done in the past, due to the corruption of both the politicians and the electorate, resulting in hyperinflation.
