Good effort but that metaphor of physical land is truly terrible. Land must be defended, -- and be able to be defended first and foremost -- to even be able to say you own it This is digital. Very different. Where/how is this site hosted? I do not think "owning bits and bytes" is as straightforward as people think sometimes. Who pays for hosting? Monetization plans generally? Hosting is expensive if it is hosting something popular. When the bots and propaganda come, what is the plan? I swear, when (not if!) malicious actors spin up a couple thousand bots that all start posting [redacted] or [redacted] on here this site won't last for even a single day. You thought DDoS attacks were bad...? I believe more in true decentralized efforts, like NOSTR. No centralized web server hosting. It can't be taken down. Just like Bitcoin you need to take down basically the Internet itself to truly hurt the network. And you can send people Bitcoin directly, by liking posts. It uses Lightning. Normal likes work too, of course. -- We shall see...
