You know what? I understand why some people are so goo goo ga ga about China; they think U.S. is an evil empire, and anyone opposing U.S. is a 'good guy', a very simplistic, monistic, Manichean philosophy, that anyone opposing 'evil' must be 'good'. This is so much like NeoCon/Neoliberal philosophy they supposedly criticize. U.S. has had some issues along the history, just like any country out there; I bet no country is 'good' all the time. So is China. Whenever China was strong enough, she had 'misbehaved'. Why I tell these people, China is just like U.S. except worse. They want U.S. to lose hegemony so bad, they're willing to look the other way whenever China misbehaves. I am agnostic on the issue of U.S. losing hegemony; I wish U.S. wouldn't lose it, but considering how majority of the electorate keep voting for the morons, U.S. would lose it in the end. But China replacing U.S. would not make a better world; it actually would make worse. Fortunately, China will not replace U.S. If anything, China would implode before U.S. Because whatever the problem U.S. has, China has far worse problems. My objective assessment, independently corroborated by Trump brothers, Don jr. and Eric is that ROK will replace U.S. And ROK will form a triumvirate with Russia/Iran to manage (not run) the world as the first among equals. USD will be dethroned as the only reserve currency of the world, by stablecoin, with each nation getting their fair/proportionate share/influence in world trade/finance, based on their productivity. No single currency or gold will replace USD. As for U.S. after the implosion, ROK will form a union with the West Coast (or just Cali).
