"Conscious" Definition: Means being aware of one's surroundings or actions, or being awake and alert. Usage: Often used as an adjective to describe a state or feeling, e.g., "I am conscious of my mistake". Example: "He remained conscious throughout the operation". "Conscience" Definition: Refers to an inner voice or sense that dictates what is right and wrong, or an awareness of morality. Usage: Typically used as a noun, referring to someone's moral compass, e.g., "He had a guilty conscience". Example: "Her conscience told her that lying was wrong". They basically mean the same thing.
