Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Time is undefeated in destroying society. Eventually humans do it to ourselves. It is sad. Unless the Atlanteans truly did exist and they ascended beyond this physical realm of earth and have launched their civilization into the stars. It seems as if every form of government, civilization, culture eventually descends into tyranny over time. Time is just too powerful. I hope we someday find a solution to corrupt government and abuse of power.

It wouldn't say time is the issue, rather our animalistic/human natures, but hey what would be without it..
