It seems like you are being rhetorical here but not sure how that plays out when the reality is most obvious. "How does another fallible human being get to have authority over you without your consent?" We have laws that do just this. You don't consent to that law? Off to jail you go. Simple as that. Consent is not a condition of society...it is an illusion for the most part. Tyranny is a condition of society... especially where God has influence. Peace.

It's not the dictatorship of the law that is necessarily the issue, but the nature of the law, whether it is OTNI, not just in slogan, but also in spirit, and the application; it doesn't even have to be consistent. For an example, some of the ROK generals have broken the national security law; they exported ultra secret ROK smart bombs to Saudis, on their own initiative, which is a major felony. However, when the investigators concluded that the generals did it not for profit for themselves, but to give Saudis what ROK could do for them if they buy ROK weapons, the charge was dismissed. The similar with Samsung group president, who contributed to illegal slush fund for one of the POTUS candidates, but the government decided he was too valuable to send to prison; it was in OTNI to not to charge him. In ROK, OTNI is God/Allah, and instead of infidel/heretic, they have enemies of the people; anyone trying to put anything above OTNI are enemies of the people.

I had explained a few times; here it goes. 'The Optimal Totalitarian National Interest' What is best for nation as a whole, not just some parochial elements, not a compromise, not necessarily a collective solution. It is not communism, not free market fundamentalism, not private property rights, not freedom of speech, not individual liberty. It is also utterly ruthless; no mercy for those who are both worthless and useless. All men are created equal NOT. Those who are worthier and more useful deserve more rights than those who are less. For an example, a business that generates greater portion of its revenue through export, and higher ROA/ROI, will get more favorite treatment when it comes to regulation, and taxes. Periodically, government will audit companies within a given industry, and those who are more efficient/effective will not only be allowed to operate, but given chance to acquire the less effective, less efficient competitors, at a favorable price, with government providing the necessary loans at a favorable rate. Economically, this is true fascism. Rich do not control the government; they work under OTNI set by the government.
