For anyone who don’t know what it is:   
  
Project Artichoke (or Operation Artichoke) was a 1950s CIA program that researched interrogation methods, hypnosis, and chemical mind control. It was designed to see if subjects could be forced to perform actions like assassination involuntarily. Initially named Project Bluebird, it was succeeded by Project MKUltra in 1953, focusing on creating amnesia and vulnerability through substances like LSD and morphine.

Key Details of Project Artichoke:

Origin: Commenced on August 20, 1951, by the CIA's Office of Scientific Intelligence.

Purpose: The primary goal was to determine if a person could be forced to commit an involuntary act of assassination.

Methods: Researched the use of hypnosis, forced addiction, and drug-induced states to create amnesia or vulnerability.

Predecessor/Successor: Developed from Project Bluebird and later replaced by the infamous Project MKUltra.
