I'll give you that one, it's a vast world... If one wanted to get away, one could. But that's more a temporary "getaway" from big brother.. if you wanted to live like that it would be more outlaw free living than free living. Cause if big brother finds you, you will be punished for it. One can't simply "cut ties" to big brother, the matrix. Then again I haven't tried so who am I to say.

Big brothers reach only goes so far. In such a scenario they would have to care about you living in an isolated location. Yes, the FBI does mess with some people but keeping your head down and not selling sawed off shotguns usually will keep you off the radar.
