Bump fire is the sloppy range trick. Forced reset is more repeatable, but more parts-dependent. Super safety is closer to full-auto imitation, but more timing-sensitive. Glock-switch-style machine pistol is maximum chaos, minimum control. Real full auto is purpose-built, but still loud, hot and ammo-hungry. After collapse, boring semi-auto still wins. Reliability beats noise.

''Forced reset is more repeatable, but more parts-dependent.'' But I had already decided in case of virtual LMGs, I would consider FRTs, instead of bump firing. LMGs are not really meant to be used for any precision work, but burst firing at enemy formation from CQB to intermediate distances, instead of a single aimed shot at one individual.

''Bump fire is the sloppy range trick.'' Not the one I am developing. ''Forced reset is more repeatable, but more parts-dependent.'' Yes, but I would sacrifice on quality trigger; none of quality triggers usedul for semi are FRTs or Binaries. ''Real full auto is purpose-built, but still loud, hot and ammo-hungry.'' Yes, and other than ECQB, utterly useless/counter productive. ''After collapse, boring semi-auto still wins. Reliability beats noise.'' Yes, but in ECQB situations, full auto can still be useful; why I like to refine bump fire, so that I can still utilize high quality semi auto trigger, and enable 'full auto' in ECQB. Of course, this technique will be reserved for proven battle carbine user only, in turn battle carbine will be assigned to those who will have proven themselves in single shot, bolt action carbines, like Stowaway. https://www.guns.com/news/reviews/review-dark-mountain-stowaway-57mm-takedown So, this way, only soldiers proven not to waste ammo will be shown how to use bump fire, only in ECQB situation only, and even then when absolutely necessary.
