The list does not stop there, single-mother households also account for 70% of all teen pregnancies, 70% of all child murders, and they account for the majority of filicide cases, which means yes, a child living in a single-mother household is the most likely to be murdered by their parent." Follow-the-science folks! until it touches 'holy grails' of who we as a society place in roles they're actually underperforming for. I have sympathy for single mothers (and there are cases where a mother is undoubtedly the better option, i.e. abusive father), but we should be celebrating/fostering good fathers a fuck ton more as a society. There should be no preferential treatment in family courts. The idea/bias that mothers are superior parents needs to end. It is a genuine social construct, unsupported by reality.
