No, it's about whether EU elites are aware of what it would take to win the war against Russia; as irrational they may be, at least they are aware they do not have what it takes to win a war against Russia in an offensive war. If they know they can't win an offensive war against Russia, then why would they press one? EU/NATO already has serious social welfare liability; they do not have resources to pay for the current social welfare liabilities and go to war against Russia at the same time.
