It’s a damn shame what they did to freenode. They could have collaborated to have a decentralized network but they chose to lie to appease their little agenda. I only wish it was as apparent then as it is now, but unfortunately I trusted some of the people who lied to me. Frankly Libera is doing exactly what they acted so abhorrently towards him to have on freenode, to once again remove our privacy. And what for? Was it worth it to kill irc as we knew because they wanted to play Judgment of Solomon. Disgusting, really. What a way to end an era.

I think it's their version of a gay/trans movement and fighting against the world and integrating themselves in to all aspects of FOSS. Whatever it is, they want it more than anybody else so they can have it. Look who's being kind and who isn't,

Yep and look at how much libera sucks now. Everyone should have just moved back to freenode but too much time has passed now.
