I find this disarmament issue the dumbest thing when it comes to tyranny always comes from the people valuing security over freedom never has the government ever overthrew a nation by the pistol and lasted long thereafter because the change is always rapid. The Soviet Union and the 3rd Reich were never meant to last because they came from cult of personality instead of a culture change and these types of changes create a equal amount of resistance. Without bombs a government can never defeat guerilla warfare as the attempts to take food grain from the peasants in the Soviet Union tells us, or the rebels that beat America in Vietnam. The calls for a "Well regulated Militia" may as well be freedom of association. Conflicts occur when people of opposing ideologies clash within a environment whose ownership or leadership isn't agree by both parties causing cultural, racial, and religious conflict leading to civil war with the victor claiming the land and exiling the loser. What am I getting to? America was always going to have this struggle because 50 stats cannot maintain a consistent culture forever which cracks were already showing itself in the late 19th century.

Of course tyranny always comes from the people valuing security over freedom. Governments manufacture chaos and present government intervention as the only solution. People don't CHOOSE to give up their freedoms, they are coerced and manipulated into it, believing they are safer/more secure. Tyranny thrives through control of information, mass surveillance, economic leverage, and more. People are often silenced before they realize what has happened. If it comes down to it, there is only one way out of tyranny, and it's to shoot your way out of that shit.

Well, remember how 1984 warned us from the jump that people would willingly put surveillance devices in their own homes to improve their sense of security… you are so right. They don’t need to overthrow us with violence because they can do it easier and cleaner through compliance. And here we are… ppl got cameras in every room of their own homes. It’s whack as shit.
