You’re completely right... it is rare, and we definitely all bring our own echo chambers with us, even here. That’s exactly why I try to check myself and stay open to other sides, even though it’s hard. I know I’m not immune to it. It might be wishful thinking, but I’d still rather put the effort into finding those genuine connections than just give up and talk past each other. A little self-honesty from both sides would go a long way.

Great sentiment here. I've tried to do this for 6+ months. However there is a group of people here who continue to make accounts and display their insane unhinged conspiracy theories. You can be nice to them, give them credit, ignore them, and they relentlessly will harrass, threaten, and make conspiracy theories about you.

I've tried blocking them, ignoring them, deleting my account and making a new one. Nothing stops their constant insane behavior. The stalking is bad for them, and bad for everyone, at some point it will come to legal terms. As I don't see any other way of continuing. They are now making accounts, claiming I am that account. So that seems beyond the goal of "Post things to interact with people" and has moved onto "I want to target and harass people" As noted by seraphima a confession in this thread, she made a whole new account just so she could harass me some more, and spread lies and conspiracies. I didn't post anything about seraphima, I ignore her, but I will respond when she does her usual. "Make a new account and personality trick" so she, ^(I don't even think its a she , its an it, a tranny)^ and pretend that all of these accounts "Agree with her" or just so she can abuse people some more. Who have done literally, nothing to her. And it's effective on their end. New users have no idea and don't want to spend hours and hours, especially now that they can just edit and delete the things they have done to cause confusion and change context. Memory holing if you will.
