Not just Eckhart Tolle, but him as well. Perhaps, I get the same feeling from him as you do from Thomas Sowell? I feel like these guys are always grifting on spirituality and consciousness....as if they had a path to it or some profound knowledge of it. But when you listen to them...it's all metaphysical...find your essence , strip away ego,.... Maybe it is something like this. If you read much of Jung...after a bit....he is too talkative...like he thinks he has something important to say, but he doesn't for the most part. He just wanted to express himself. It can be good to study this kind of scholar. They do have brilliant insights, but they also have a lot of mediocre thought as well. And they are willing to pad a book with the mediocre when bookselling is "the" concern. Something like that. Peace.

I see where you’re coming from with this. I kinda got the same feeling from Jung when I started looking up the shadow self. They do have brilliant insights, but humans are humans lol.
