a much better system instead of collecting everyone's data, would be to ban people who exploit the data and doxx people. Theres really no way to verify a face to face video or audio chat anyways these days, it can be manipulated. So the data itself is useless. All it does it expose people who mean well to attacks. That data lives somewhere and can be hacked. So why not just build a system where there is no data except whatever you post. If someone posts other users personal data, they should be banned. This site is becoming a stalkers paradise and it's not on a good trajectory. You want to sign up for an account? great, if your first 3 posts are attacking users of the website than you should be banned.

Perhaps persistent positivity, with caution, can turn it around? I see your point. Connections can be made through mutual respect without need of surrendering personal details. Honor system. That’s good.
