I'm not saying he's bad, but I sense he's western driven and will have those biases brought in. Producer based economies absolutely can dominate. Today, look at China and its trade surplus. The US back in the 50s hit it out of the park. When you have all excess production, it supports a strong currency and strong middle class. When systems switch to a more consumer-based economy, export of labor, and getting into debt leading to currency debasement and many of the problems many western countries currently experience. Overly simplified, but it's what I generally see today.

100% I agree. I was going to mention how great the US used to be as a producer-based economy. Just making sure I understood you is all.
