Can't tell you. May have adjusted course? Maybe didn't affect everyone. I'm not an insider. I imagine it would be prohibitively expensive to hook up everyone to a BCI. However, it is an extreme liability for the current administration. Especially with Musk so near the Presidency. I doubt that Musk is completely involved, if at all. This tech has been around for a long time, especially if not specifically the ability to intrude into the minds of others. The groundwork for Neuralink was made back in the 70's and 80's. But the optics surrounding this would not look good given what he pedals in, being an oligarch, impulsive and seemingly evil. Literally any country that is not China or US, and is not using this tech on it's own populace could use it as the greatest blackmail of all time, or as a silver bullet to the deepstate. What's odd is that Russia's foreign minister mentioned IMMEDIATELY before the Ukraine war that the U.S. has the ability of mind control, but it just went away and he didnt speak of it further. I imagine that was China's influence(?). If i can stumble across it again ill link it here.
