Funny how sometimes we come to an epiphany, and get introspective just over a simple post. I watched the video too and i totally agree. Never did i live in new york city but i was like one flat tire away from total and complete finacial desperation and suicide at more then one time in my life. Have struggled at different times in my life with drug and alcohol abuse, and was lucky to have certain people in my life to keep me in check that cared enough about me when i didnt care enough about myself. And i went from sleeping in some alcoholic friend of mines garage to eventually, after hard work and self control, began to accumulate things, material things, yes, but a stable home, an apartment of my own, and people were able to be proud of me again.

Glad you made it back. There is only one way to go from rock bottom. So sad to see so many give up.
