If the technology behind brain chips gets good enough, not having one will be like not having a smart phone. you’re definitely going to be cut off from the rest of civilization in a certain way, and looked at as anachronistic and inefficient. hopefully, we figure out ways to communicate with the brain with non-invasive measures. MMI as a technology essentially spells the end of the human race as we know it.
