Then allow soj.ooO to enable discussions we like and do not like (avoiding echo chambers). Bad interactions are more likely to give 'food for thought', than no interactions. How does one learn how to suppress anger without getting angry? Hopefully, you can see those who would like soj.ooO to be no different than the rest (X, Reddit, Gab etc.) #Bible Proverbs 15:1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Ephesians 4:26-27 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. #Quran chp 3 ver 133-136 You should eagerly race towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise whose width encompasses the heavens and the earth; it awaits the righteous, who give to charity during the good times, as well as the bad times. They are **suppressors of anger**, and pardoners of the people. GOD loves the charitable. If they fall in sin or wrong their souls, they remember GOD and ask forgiveness for their sins—and who forgives the sins except GOD—and they do not persist in sins, knowingly. Their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens with flowing streams; they abide therein forever. What a blessed reward for the workers!

I can certainly see the arguments for blocking. When soj.ooO was created, we intended to create a true town square where the internet's discourse would be able to take place. Blocking creates imaginative self-serving narratives (e.g., not reality). Without listening, it becomes difficult to engage in bidirectional discourse. History and purpose aside, should this be a change the community wishes to bring about, the DAO will both enable and enforce this. While my opinion holds very little weight, I urge caution in taking this direction. \> How does one learn how to suppress anger without getting angry? Suppressing anger isn't the answer, but instead, refraining from taking the kinds of irreversible actions while in an angered state is more likely to lead to a better outcome. As @johnny and @matt said, there are two kinds of decisions: 1) the kind that is one and done and 2) the kind that you can go back and fix --- don't act on any type 1 decision when angered! \> If they fall in sin or wrong their souls, they remember GOD and ask forgiveness for their sins—and who forgives the sins except GOD GOD may forgive sins, but will the sinner forgive themselves? God gave us the ability to make choices. Life is a lot more pleasant when we stop ourselves from making choices that will lead to regret sooner or later, thereafter.
