It might be willful but then it doesn't seem like ignorance....but carelessness. Not a provocation...just a personal observation when I post something too willingly....without concern for how others might 'infer' a meaning unintended. Seems like "they" are using AI to weaponize a lack or level of critical thinking. If AI can be given 'authority' then anything it comes up with, at our request, must be right. Viola...like magic the computer agrees with me. If the computer does, then it must be right. Right? Of course not, but that question does not get asked. Our critical thinking skills get put on pause while we enjoy the dopamine kick of self congratulatory affirmations. However, if we are using AI ourselves to do our searches, then it seems it isn't even willful, but neglectful of the abuse of power that any oligarch would use to divide us. This is a contentious topic but I appreciate your responses and hope maybe we shed some light we/others might benefit from. Peace.
