I honestly cannot relate to or fully understand what you are saying. At no point did I ever use any words telling you to submit to me or obey me. What I asked was simply for basic caution and respect in the way words are used something that reflects the dignity we should all maintain as human beings. Yes, you and I are strangers. But precisely because we are strangers, I believe using words like “fuck” toward one another is not appropriate. Of course, you are free to use whatever language you choose. That is your freedom. However, I also believe that as human beings, we have a basic responsibility to uphold a minimum level of respect in how we treat each other. Let me explain this more clearly and logically. The Joseon project, as well as the Soj project, both pursue ideals of freedom and peace. But nowhere in those ideals is there any intention or justification for treating others carelessly, disrespectfully, or without dignity. If we truly want to build a world based on freedom, democracy, and without domination or violation of rights, then that change must begin with each individual including ourselves. It is a serious mistake to believe that one person has no influence on the world. Every single individual’s actions, words, and attitude contribute to shaping the environment we all live in. Change does not begin with systems. It begins with people. And that includes you, and it includes me.

You’re right. I’m in transition. I’ve been a punk my whole life and my panties get in a bunch sometimes when I see pearls. I’ll remember to treat you gently and with the utmost respect in the future. Thank you for your civilized response.
