Problem is it's not the bigwigs do the guarding, but little peons at the bottom. When the government cannot pay those peons with currency useful enough, those peons will start helping themselves, at first, just to survive, and later on, to trade those supplies, for other goods that they need/want, or could trade with others; what is government going to do about it? By the time they realize what is happening, it would be too late. No one obeys government that doesn't pay them or pays with currency that they cannot trade with others. Americans are not that dumb. That's also what had happened with the Soviets before their collapse, and Qing dynasty before the fall.

I had said, between 2050 and 75; I also meant immediately after the permanent hyperinflation, which will take place sometime between 50, and 75.
