**the short answer is they want to 'kill god'.**  
killing god is their wet dream. Their fetish. their obsession.  
  
i'm not talking about God that can be killed. human god/animal god/anything creature god, etc.  
  
why they want to kill god?  
because God is the source of their misery throughout thousands of years. and they got bamboozled by the very God they worship.  
they want to have Messiah, a saviour born of their own people. they crave for a military and politically and spiritually charismatic figure that can lead their people out of their misery and to the world domination.  
1\. God sent blondie boi. they rejected him because blondie boi isn't 6 foot tall with 6 pack abs and 6 figures income.   
2\. God later sent what they want, a military charismatic figure who had everything they want in a prophet.. He sent Mohammed. Mohammed trolled them that there will be no more prophet, he is the last prophet on the line. The jews rejected him simply because the dude is not a jew.. nor white caucasian with blonde hair and blue eyes.
