I know something "unhackable" is almost always if not always a lie because of how information technology works, but if your data were to be unhackable and wasn't accessible to anyone but yourself, would you trust it more? I only ask because information technology as it is today is our chains, I accept this, yet the technology itself is still valuable and were we to live in a "better" world it wouldn't be used to enslave us. I suppose what I'm really asking is this, is it the technology itself you don't trust or the people who control it?

At the moment, both. There isn't a service that is trustworthy and that could protect you from a techno dystopia. The government has access to all your info and give that to entities like palantir, who will use it to survey and enslave everyone. Minority report is happening as we speak.

Yeah I get what your saying, do you see the value of these technologies though, if they weren't used as they are, like LLMs being used for crime prediction is very much a bad thing for anyone who has a functioning brain, yet LLMS can still provide a valuable service. A device that is biometrically secure to just you and there's no chance of that data being used for any other purpose surely this is a good thing? And again I know this wont happen in the real world I'm just curious to your answer.

of course there is utility with every tool. I want to create a LLMs company myself, but I wouldn't know where or how to start. My idea is individualized secure bots that you can cater to the individuals likings. Basically taking all the different models and consolidating them into a single platform that doesn't collect data, but allows users to choose the "personality" of their bot. Imagine c3p0 in real life. You could have bots that are like your friends, all the way to having the perfect assistant. You want an "edge bot", choose the anti woke setting. You want one that explains things in hard to understand details that takes a little knowledge, choose the "nerd" setting. You want one who cares about you feelings and is super politically correct, choose the "ghey" setting. I probably won't ever get to make this company, but I've thought about it a bit. I don't like biometrics for two reasons. 1. If you have something that someone wants bad enough your physical body could become the target. 2. Your biometrics gets turned into readable computer data meaning it can be hacked and copied. Two, is the ability to copy that data for identification purposes which is the reason the tool works in the first place. It is anti privacy by nature. Privacy is necessary for true security. When privacy is taken away, so is security. You will be at the mercy of the ruling class. The techno dystopia will have arrived.
