I will add that I believe Leon Trotsky, and Joseph Goebbels had their own personal grievance with peasants for Leon, and Jews with Goebbels which is why I believe counter propaganda seems to center around these two. If I recall correction it was Leon who wanted global communism which is likely why he was kicked out. And Goebbels had a beef with Jews since childhood.
