I borrowed the term “Prime Mover” from Aristotle. I believe he was a polytheist who came to the conclusion that existence must have been affected by an individual Creator. In our time, Prime Mover is God. I use it to try to provide welcome space for folks who do not believe in any religion as exists today in our time in history. I supposed I am assuming AI may develop agency. I am naive to tech, but isn’t the concern that AI will eventually teach itself and sustain itself? In thinking of AI in that respect, and because AI was developed by imperfect people, I would say AI, even self sustaining, would be in awe of God.

It is not easy to provide welcome space for others who do not believe in any religion as exists today in our time in history....to that end....your attempt is greatly appreciated. In our time, if Prime Mover is God, then it might be wise to include plurality into that pattern. God, gods, Prime Mover, Prime Movers...etc? You could be right about AI developing agency. Perhaps we are all a bit naive as to the eventual outcomes of all this. As of now.....it seems we get gaslighting....and almost only gaslighting when it comes to the reality and future reality of AI. We disagree on the nature of awe with respect to God and AI. All good. Either way.....one could say... if awe were the operating phrase here....perhaps the awesome potential for catastrophically tragic outcomes might cause pause...and awe....in those who seem more than willing to use such unsound and untested tools indiscriminately. Peace.😇
