because we have special wood called teak wood that could withstand elements for more than 100 years we were able to build ships. massive ships as huge as today's main aircraft.

we are located at the center of the world.  
we are told to be the light of the world. thus we 'have' to sail to every corner of the world. established trade with locals and indigenous people without genociding them.

the fact that god's chosen people in book of Isaiah didnt talk about them is ironic.  
the book of Isaiah talked about us.

you cant be israeli if you are god's chosen people.  
you can't claim to be the god's chosen people if you are israeli.
