I’ve been to NOLA but I never had that. That looks so good and comforting. I was not impressed with anything I had in Nola. Either it was too heavy or ordinary Lol 🫣 my favorite comfort food there was simple shrimp and grits at a little diner place near enterprise car rental. It was my first time having it. Then I had it at Rubys? I think that’s the place… one with red high heels 👠

awww thats dissappointing. I liked the shrimp and crawfish boils with the Vietnamese influence. The po boy sandwiches. Beignets! gumbo! Chargrilled oysters! bbq shrimp! so much good food to eat! I forget the name of the bakery but I had great croissants as well!

I did get crawfish but it wasn’t anything better than what I get in California. It wasn’t Asian Cajun tho. Maybe I’m just not easily impressed haha. But I enjoy fresh crawfish regardless how it was prepared. I expected better bc I’m eating at the source. The chargrilled oysters were definitely good…! I had beignets from two different places. I forgot the name but it was better than cafe du monde, which was one of the two I tried and both are steps apart from each other.
