That is not a proper way to evaluate a proposition. I did not "dismiss" flat earth. I provided a means of visualizing the spherical Earth an ordinary person could actually relate to. And this is not presented as some ultimate "gotcha" to discredit the idea either, which is nonetheless entirely without merit. It's simply a means of addressing the most obvious and most common claim of flat earthers that we're unable to observe the curve in casual everyday life.... even though we actually can.
