The blatant favoritism towards Israel over America cannot be denied anymore because (assuming off your PHP) you're probably Gen X, it was easy to hide how America last America was. Soon being pro Israel at any compacity will be the quickest way to being voted out of office (Similar to being Pro Nazis) So yes, you will see a growing apathy towards Iran actually getting a Nuclear weapon to force world peace. The fact that our supposed Ally Pakistan has floated the idea of giving Iran a weapon speaks to this.

One of the biggest disconnects we're still grappling with is that for some reason people cannot separate Zionism with Judaism the same way they separate White People from Nazism it's the strangest thing. The same way you have Ukrainian Nazis, you also have Indian Nazis and the Far Right Japanese Nazis still in Japan. Jewish Nazis? It seems to be completely lost on most people.
