You FE's have puzzled me for years, even though I played my part in generating your paradigm, I still don't quite get why you're so convinced of your position.  
  
I'm fairly well convinced that most of you are just playing a part, trolling everyone who doesn't know why they believe what they believe, but that's not the quite the vibe I get from you.  
  
So, assuming you actually believe the earth is "flat", and I don't actually believe that, not really, what is the evidence of "flatness" you'd like me to believe, and what are the predictive powers of your "superior" understanding of hte globe we all know we're living on?  
  
Until pretty recently both factions agreed that a 24 hour sun in the "North" could work on both a flat and globe Earth, and that a 24 hour sun could NOT work both in the north and south on a "flat earth".  
  
Then, as soon as someone actually decided to spend the huge amount of money to send a group of FE's to Antarctica the FE "community" decided that a 24 hour sun in the south WOULD be possible on a "flat earth".  
  
Currently there's a bit of a divide between the FE's claiming the 24 hour sun makes sense and the FE's claiming the "final experiment" was faked, and I suppose a few caught in the middle claiming both simultaneously.  
  
What none of you could anticipate was someone like me who has personally watched people die rather than admit what they "knew" was false, so you aren't even aware that anyone (especially yourself) could hold your "belief" as being more important than life itself.  
  
Over the last half century or more I've observed people pretending that "truth" is what they wish to believe, while facts are disloyalty to "truth". Hell, our previous president actually stated: "We believe in truth over facts." In what I can only presume was an unintentional spasm of honesty.  
  
I suppose this must seem to be an attack intended to make you feel "less than", but it's not really.  
  
Humans. Us. We're wired a certain way.  
  
If you desire to call that "fallen" or fallible, or whatever is of little concern to me.  
  
I'm exactly as likely as you to just "believe" something counter-factual as you are; moderated at least to some small extent by my knowledge that I'm susceptible, just as you are, which at least to my thinking gives me a slight edge.  
  
Unlike virtually anyone who simply believes what they're told about the shape of the world we're living in, I DO know why it makes perfect sense that we're living on a globular Earth rather than a "flat earth".  
  
So, rather than your various nonsense challenges to the actual shape of the world, what other than your unobservant perusal of the world around you supposedly justifies your supposed belief?  
  
You can skip the "surveyors all know", because I've worked as a surveyor and anyone can pick up a surveyor's handbook or other education material guiding surveyors and see the truth, which is the opposite of what you claim to believe.  
  
You can skip the ludicrous constant altitude adjustment of aircraft in flight, because anyone with two brain cells understands altitude dependent air pressure.  
  
As you're no doubt well aware, basically everything about our world contains clues to constantly reafirm the truth we ALL already know: The Earth is spherical, globe shaped, round, whatever terms you care to use.
