After returning home from Afghanistan with a broken back from a vehicle roll over, the VA had me try taking all the pharmaceuticals... I want to say that in a year I had been prescribed 18 different prescriptions. I'd take 1 for this, 2 for that, quit taking 1 of the 2 get 1 more, quit number 1, but would be spaced by 3 different/new pills... I remember one day being so zombie feeling that I couldn't get off the couch. A friend suggested that I try Marijuana. Having never tried it before in my life, I figured why not, I'll give it a go. By the end of that month I completely quit all prescription drugs, cold turkey, and just stuck with Mary Jane. It wasn't a cure all but my overall average was 70+%. Way better than I ever was on the prescription stuff.. People's bodies react differently to any foreign substance and really the choice should be yours to make. Problem is that doctors as we're well aware now make money off of prescribing x,y,z Diet and exercise has come to be the most important medicine overall tho

Dude, the amount of pharmaceuticals the VA will prescribe to you is insane! Good thing I have been adverse to taking all sorts of meds my entire life but I don't see how this helps other vets. Some of there method to see what works is trial and error without consideration of the side effects of these drugs
