Yet, he had to know it was some risky stuff (that could possibly get him killed) so you would think that perhaps maybe he gave details of the last 20 minutes to a close confidant and that confidant has yet to release it. Tell me this, do you think Kubrick portrayed himself as the pianist that reveals the parry to Tom Cruise?
